Born in Manhattan, raised in Queens, and seasoned with a touch of Tullamore, Joseph is currently learning how to suburb, living in Westchester amongst people who seem far too quaint for his tastes. Together with his wife Jess, they’re raising twins that are obsessed with Octo-naughty, cats, and possums

Joseph runs his own tech consultancy, while teaching design classes. He’s also written several non-fiction books and far too many urban exploring things sprinkled across the internet. He’s been interviewed by The New York Times, The Financial Times, and Tokyo Broadcast System. When he’s not working he’s taking day trips with his small goons, seeking out the best Halal carts in NYC and photographing unseen gritty tunnels under the city.
